Cavatim terms

Access and membership

Cavatim is an invitation-only planning service designed for ambitious people who are prepared to plan and follow through. “For high achievers” describes that intended audience, not a qualification, accreditation or promise of results. Joining the waitlist is free and does not guarantee an invitation, a place by a particular date or a paid subscription. We do not assess your income, credentials or private diary to score your suitability. Any private testing access is separate from an introductory subscription offer; testing access does not automatically convert into a paid subscription.

Planning and results

Cavatim helps you organise goals, routines and commitments into a connected plan. You choose your priorities, allocate time, check your schedule and carry out the work. Progress and balance depend on your choices, circumstances and consistent use. We do not guarantee that you will achieve every goal, achieve a particular result or save a specified amount of time. This does not reduce our responsibility to provide the service as described, with reasonable care and skill, or your statutory rights if it is faulty.

Your account and records

Use an email address you control and keep your password, authenticator and recovery codes private. New accounts currently require an invitation email. Your Cavatim account is shared between the website and iOS app. You remain responsible for the information you enter and for having permission to store information about other people. Do not use Cavatim unlawfully, try to access someone else’s diary, or disrupt the service.

You retain your rights to your content. You allow us to store and process it only as needed to provide and secure Cavatim, as described in our privacy notice. You can export your diary or delete your account in Account settings. Cavatim is a planning tool, not a guaranteed alarm or an emergency service. Keep a separate record of commitments where missing them would cause serious harm.

Free and Pro

Standard day and week planning, calendar, notes and widgets are free. Pro adds the ability to create longer-term plans and goals, recurring routines and habits, and extra notebook and desk customisation. Existing records remain available to read, edit, complete, export and delete after Pro ends. Updates to the hosted planner become available when the app next loads the website; changes to native app or widget features may require an App Store update.

Apple subscriptions

Pro is offered as an automatically renewing monthly or annual subscription. Planned UK launch prices for new subscriptions are £19.99 per month or £199.99 per year, including applicable taxes. The annual price is charged as one payment for a year; it is not a monthly instalment plan. Public App Store release is pending. The App Store displays the actual price, billing period and applicable taxes before you confirm. No introductory subscription trial is currently offered. Existing subscriptions may retain a previously agreed price, and existing complimentary beta grants are not changed by this launch pricing.

Apple charges the Apple Account used for the purchase. The subscription renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel it in your Apple account’s subscription settings. Cancellation normally leaves access until the end of the paid period, subject to Apple’s refund or revocation decisions.

Buy while signed in to the Cavatim account you want to use. A purchase is linked to that one account and is not transferable between Cavatim accounts. Pro then works on the website and app when you use the same Cavatim login. Family Sharing is not offered. Restore purchases while signed in to the original Cavatim account.

Manage Apple subscriptions · Request a refund from Apple. Apple handles App Store payments, cancellations and refund requests under its terms. You may also contact us about a faulty service or a complaint. Any applicable statutory cancellation rights remain available. Where UK law provides a 14-day cancellation period, it is only limited for immediate digital supply where the legally required express consent and acknowledgement have been obtained; these terms do not themselves waive that right. Deleting the app or your Cavatim account does not cancel Apple billing; cancel the subscription separately. Account deletion is still available immediately.

Service changes and support

We aim to keep your planner available and your records safe, but maintenance, device limitations and network interruptions can affect access. Widgets refresh when iOS permits and may show a clearly dated cached plan. Review the planner for current information and export backups of records you need to retain.

We may make proportionate changes to maintain compatibility, improve the service, address security risks or comply with the law. We will give reasonable advance notice of changes that materially disadvantage you, except where urgent security or legal action prevents it, and explain your options. A new advertised price does not change a paid period already purchased. Renewal price changes follow applicable law and Apple’s notice and consent requirements; you can cancel before renewal. If we materially reduce or end a paid service during a period you have paid for, contact us so that any applicable remedy, including a refund for unused service, can be arranged. We may suspend an account where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risks or legal obligations, and will explain the reason and a way to challenge the decision where lawful and safe.

Your consumer rights and complaints

Contact support@cavatim.com with a service or billing complaint. We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Your rights concerning digital content and services, including remedies where they are not as described or do not meet the standards required by law, are not affected.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers retain the mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings in the courts of their home country where applicable, including Scotland and Northern Ireland. These terms do not require consumers to use arbitration or give up access to a court.

The iOS software is also covered by Apple’s standard licensed application agreement. These service terms apply to your Cavatim account and hosted service.
