Agreement and eligibility
The apps are supplied by James William Boyce, operating under Boyce Property Services Ltd. (company number 06258012). By downloading or using Cavatim you agree to these terms and Apple’s applicable App Store terms and standard licensed-application agreement. If the terms conflict, mandatory consumer law and Apple’s controlling platform terms take priority.
You must be at least 16 to create and use a Cavatim workspace. Each workspace is for one individual; goals and household plans are not shared or merged between accounts.
Trial and subscriptions
- Eligible new subscribers may receive a 14-day full-feature introductory trial. Apple determines eligibility for an introductory offer within the subscription group.
- At UK launch, Cavatim is offered at £5.99 per month or £49.99 per year. The Apple purchase sheet shows the binding localized price, trial eligibility, billing period, and renewal terms before purchase.
- Unless cancelled, an auto-renewable subscription renews through the Apple ID used for purchase. You can manage or cancel it in Apple subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Family Sharing is available when enabled for the product and permitted by the purchaser’s Apple settings. Each family member receives a separate Apple entitlement; Cavatim does not merge their planning data.
- Use Restore Purchases if an active or shared entitlement is not recognised. Refund decisions and payment processing are handled by Apple under its policies and applicable law.
When paid access ends
After a trial or subscription expires, Cavatim continues private iCloud reconciliation so viewing, structured and PDF export, and workspace deletion operate on the complete account history. Creating, editing, completing, notification configuration, and interactive widget actions require an active entitlement; privacy information, purchase restoration, and subscription management remain available.
Cavatim responds to StoreKit expiry, revocation, refund, billing retry, and grace-period states. Access during a billing grace period follows the entitlement Apple supplies.
Permitted use
- You receive a personal, limited, non-transferable licence to use Cavatim on supported Apple devices associated with your App Store account.
- Do not bypass purchase or security controls, probe another person’s private data, disrupt the service, reverse engineer except where law permits, or use the app for unlawful harm.
- The app supports planning and reflection; it does not provide medical, financial, legal, or emergency advice.
Your content and backups
You retain rights in the goals, tasks, notes, and journal content you enter. You grant Cavatim only the permission needed to process that content for the app functions you choose.
Cavatim is designed around local storage, private CloudKit sync, append-only history, and export, but no storage system is infallible. Keep an export before deleting a workspace, changing Apple IDs, or relying on the app for irreplaceable records.
Availability and changes
Cavatim may change to maintain compatibility, security, legal compliance, accessibility, and ongoing subscription value. Material changes to these terms will be dated and communicated through an appropriate app or website notice.
CloudKit, StoreKit, notifications, Family Sharing, and the App Store are Apple services and may be interrupted or changed outside Cavatim’s control. Offline edits remain subject to later reconciliation.
Consumer rights and liability
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights relating to digital content. Cavatim does not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or another liability that law does not allow to be excluded.
Subject to those protections, Cavatim is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss, or for loss caused by user deletion, device or Apple-account compromise, unsupported modification, or an external service outage that reasonable care could not prevent.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Consumers retain any mandatory right to bring proceedings in the part of the United Kingdom where they live. Contact support@cavatim.com, or write to 6 Bexley Square, Salford, Greater Manchester, England, M3 6BZ, with a terms, billing, or accessibility question.
