Summary

  • Essential cookies are used for sign-in, session security, MFA, sensitive actions, checkout, and integration connection handoff.
  • Planner browser storage keeps a local working copy and recovery buffers so the app remains usable and recoverable.
  • Marketing analytics on public pages are optional and run only when the user has enabled analytics sync.
  • Cavatim does not use third-party advertising cookies or sell cookie-derived personal data.

Essential cookies and storage

Essential cookies include the Cavatim session cookie, MFA and sensitive-action cookies, analytics-admin cookies for protected internal dashboards, and short-lived integration bridge cookies. These are needed to authenticate users, prevent account misuse, and complete the product flow.

Essential browser storage includes planner, goals, settings, export, recovery, onboarding, and local preference keys. Sensitive account caches are cleared on logout or account switch.

Optional marketing analytics

Public marketing pages can buffer anonymous marketing events in the browser. Those events are not synced until the user chooses to allow anonymous marketing analytics.

Product telemetry used to operate the logged-in service avoids passwords, API keys, reset codes, MFA codes, and excessive planner content.

Your choices

  • You can change the marketing analytics choice from the privacy controls shown on the public privacy page.
  • You can sign out to clear sensitive account caches managed by the logout flow.
  • You can use browser controls to block non-essential storage, but blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in or payment flows from working.
